Teaching healthy Christian habits is the essence of Disciple Making. iDisciple was founded with this
simple process in mind. We exist to help each student earnestly defend the faith, to expose God’s redemptive
plan to the lost and to grow faithfully each day in the person of Jesus Christ. Our aim is not merely to make
disciples but to raise effective “disciple-makers.” “Disciples are made, not born” (Matt. 28:18-21). We
designed each lesson to help you develop the knowledge and skills you need to be effective in the Lord’s
church.
Evangelism 101

This class is a study of the nature and practice of evangelism. Attention is given to the theology and historical
development of evangelism, personal and team evangelism methods, and the use of apologetics.
This practical study of evangelism will equip each student with tools to make them effective to win souls for
Jesus and like Jesus.

For many Christians, reading the Bible has been like listening to one end of a phone conversation. We
read our Bible as though its peoples were American and interpret their sayings in terms of our own
background and psychology. Oftentimes we may have been left with questions like what it means to heap
burning coals on someone’s head, or what happened between the Old and New Testament? Jewish
Manners & Customs gives you “the other half of the conversation.”
Church History 101
BLOCKS F (May 27- Aug 4) | Day and Time to be Determined
An examination of the history of the church from the first century to the dawn of the Reformation (1500).
Attention will be given to the major events, people, and issues that have shaped church history within this time
period, as well as how these things integrate with biblical norms.

Church history is the story of the greatest community the world has known and the greatest movement in
world history. Yet, just as the biblical record of the people of God is the story of a mixed people with great acts
of faith and great failures in sin and unfaithfulness, so is the history of the people who have made up the
church down through the ages. It offers a unique contextual view of how the Christian church spread and
developed from the just prior to the Reformation and through the next five-hundred-plus years into the
present-day.
The Role of Biblical Leadership

The character and effectiveness of any church is directly related to the quality of its leadership. That’s why the
Bible stresses the importance of qualified church leadership and delineates specific standards for evaluating
those who would serve in that sacred position. Failure to adhere to those standards has caused many of the
problems that churches throughout the world currently face. In this 12 week class, we explore a working
definition of spiritual leadership based on the Bible. We begin by defining a uniquely Christian leader from the
inside out, from godly character and commitment to pure motives and a servant attitude.
