Kara is now taking patients in Blue Earth and<br />
Fairmont. Dr. Corey Welchin says, “I understand how great it feels to be able<br />
to come home to deliver health care where you grew up.” Kara and her family<br />
are the third generation on the Ristau Family farm in Elmore. She enjoys<br />
working with patients of all ages but has a special interest in Bioidenticals<br />
(Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy) for women, Geriatrics, Diabetes<br />
Management and Mental Health. “I look forward to working alongside Dr.<br />
Kimm, helping patients reach their health goals,” Kara remarks.<br />

expanded its Orthopedics Department by adding three outreach providers<br />
to the team — Eric Busse, M.D., Jacqueline Corona, M.D., and Jacob Ziegler,<br />
M.D. — in early February. Drs. Busse and Ziegler offer nonsurgical and surgical<br />
treatment options for injuries and conditions of the knees, shoulders and<br />
hips — including utilization of the highly sought-after anterior hip approach.<br />
Dr. Corona is an accomplished, fellowship-trained hand specialist. She provides<br />
solutions for hand and wrist problems by employing both nonsurgical<br />

Tiphanie Izen recently celebrated her 4 year anniversary with<br />
DEED-Fairmont WorkForce Center in November. Since then,<br />
additional job duties have been added to her role. One including,<br />
working with employers and building relationships with<br />
local businesses to better assist them with utilizing the Work-<br />

In recent months Kahler Automation offered<br />
a hearty WELCOME to Administrative Assistant Martha Myren and Marketing<br />
Intern Maggie Bachenberg, and fond FAREWELL to retiree Chuck Haugen<br />
(Mechanical Assembler). In February, Fairmont HS Senior Cameron Saxton<br />
spent several afternoons job shadowing Kahler’s engineering departments,<br />
meeting with electrical, mechanical and software engineers. Finally, during<br />
advanced training sessions last month, Kahler was proud to have hosted approximately<br />
100 customer “students” from across the continent (from as far<br />
as Wyoming, Oklahoma, Ohio, and Canada), each of whom contributed to the<br />
local economy by spending money at local hotels & restaurants!<br />
