Family Fun<br />
<strong>East</strong>er fun for the whole family at Burton Agnes Hall<br />
Throughout the <strong>East</strong>er holidays, Burton Agnes Hall will be hosting a feast<br />
of activities for families to enjoy.<br />
From 30th March-8th April, children are invited to take part in an <strong>East</strong>er<br />
trail around the wonderful grounds of the Hall, solving clues while<br />
exploring the extensive gardens. Once the puzzle has been solved, every<br />
child will receive an <strong>East</strong>er treat.<br />
On <strong>East</strong>er Sunday <strong>and</strong> Monday, children can hunt chocolate <strong>East</strong>er eggs<br />
hidden by the <strong>East</strong>er Bunny in the Hall’s woodl<strong>and</strong>, <strong>and</strong> even meet the<br />
bunny himself!<br />
Simon Cunliffe-Lister says: “Our children really look forward to the <strong>East</strong>er<br />
egg hunt - they love searching for chocolate <strong>East</strong>er eggs <strong>and</strong> meeting the<br />
<strong>East</strong>er bunny. We love joining many others who visit our home at <strong>East</strong>er<br />
<strong>and</strong> enjoy the <strong>East</strong>er celebrations as much as we do.”<br />

Hatter returns with his comedy magic <strong>and</strong> Springtime silliness!<br />

Follow Mother Shipton’s<br />
<strong>East</strong>er trail <strong>and</strong> meet<br />
characters from Beatrix<br />
Potter’s Peter Rabbit stories.<br />
As you walk through magical woodl<strong>and</strong>, props <strong>and</strong> characters will<br />
bring the story of the mischievous bunny to life. Actors will be<br />
stationed as characters in the park to interact with children <strong>and</strong><br />
help families complete a themed adventure quiz sheet.<br />
Fun for all the family Monday 26th March to Sunday 15th April.<br />
The Park opens 10am to 4.30pm (last admission 3.30pm). The<br />
park also has several scenic picnic areas alongside the popular<br />
River Nidd, an adventure playground <strong>and</strong> museum <strong>and</strong> gift shop.<br />

Springtime Live<br />
A fun family event, where children<br />
can get up close to farm animals from<br />
chicks to lambs, piglets to calves,<br />
goats <strong>and</strong> rare breed sheep. Once<br />
inside the event, all demonstrations<br />
<strong>and</strong> h<strong>and</strong>s on workshops are free<br />
including Mr Bloom from CBeebies<br />
<strong>and</strong> his b<strong>and</strong>. Look out for a special visit from the <strong>East</strong>er Bunny<br />
too! Children can have a go at making your own ice cream, bread<br />
<strong>and</strong> sausages. There’ll be donkey rides, soft play areas <strong>and</strong> outdoor<br />

A fun-filled family day out! Children of all ages can enjoy The<br />
Eggsplorers’ Egg Hunt <strong>and</strong> other special events including The Ugly Bug<br />
Show & Chocolate Making with York’s Chocolate Story (selected dates<br />
– see website for details). Our Stockeld Rangers have daily forest walks,<br />
den building, arts & crafts <strong>and</strong> games!<br />
Throughout <strong>East</strong>er, Stockeld Park offers<br />

Join in the <strong>East</strong>er Egg Hunt in Dino Dig between<br />

April. Once a child has found an egg in the s<strong>and</strong> pit with a bucket <strong>and</strong><br />
spade, it can be redeemed in the Dino-Stone Park Shop for a free egg<br />
themed tasty treat. Across every day of the <strong>East</strong>er School Holidays<br />
you can also join in the Zoo Trail <strong>and</strong> complete your sheet whilst<br />
walking around our award-winning animal collection. Anyone who<br />
completes the trail will be entered into a prize draw to win a Family<br />
Annual Pass.<br />
There are a variety of junior <strong>and</strong> family rides, including the new<br />
Flamingo 1 racing cars, where both children <strong>and</strong> adults can test their<br />
driving skills. Meet Peter Rabbit live, see him in a show with Lily<br />
Bobtail <strong>and</strong> explore the Peter Rabbit Adventure playground. Keep an<br />
eye out for Menya, our Sumatran tiger cub that was born last August.<br />
