Ay Up Puppet! An iron man the size ofadouble-decker bus,<br />
colourful giant birds, ahypochondriac hippo, adiabolical Mr<br />
Punch, atwist on Cinderella set in an underwater world plus a<br />
pop-up puppet village in the Old Market Square with FREE street<br />
theatre, workshops, live music and more all make upfour days<br />
of family fun as part ofNottingham’s first ever Puppet Festival.<br />
Taking place at venues across Nottingham, the Festival rounds<br />
off on the Sunday with aspectacular puppet parade through the<br />

An exciting new adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s family classic, The<br />
Jungle Book, comes to life in this colourful new show brought to you<br />
by the team behind Goodnight Mister Tomand Michael Morpurgo’s<br />
Running Wild.<br />
Loved asawild and fun tale of family, belonging and identity, this<br />
production is packed with memorable characters, new songs and<br />
brilliant storytelling.<br />
Mowgli the man cub battles for survival in this heart-warming coming-ofage<br />
story about aboy raised by wolves in the jungle. With the help ofhis<br />
animal friends, including Bagheera the panther, Baloo the bear and Kaa<br />
the python, Mowgli outwits the cruel and powerful tiger, Shere Khan, and<br />

all intrepid adventurers to head<br />
over toBolsover Castle this<br />
coming bank holiday weekend<br />
and take onanEaster trail with<br />
adifference.<br />
The historic property is kicking<br />
off its events programme for<br />
the 2018 spring and summer<br />
season with its popular Easter<br />
Adventure Quest which will<br />
take place from Friday 30<br />
March –Monday 2April<br />
2018. Young explorers will<br />
meet acharacter from the past<br />
before they set off on their very own Easter adventure –<br />
an exciting hunt for some legendary dragon eggs.<br />
Children will have to crack clues and solze puzzles as they explore the<br />
grounds at Bolsover Castle and their historical friend will be on hand<br />
to help them with ariddle during the quest. With achocolate reward on<br />
offer to challenge champions, this is an Easter adventure which is not to<br />
be missed!<br />
After the Easter weekend, Bolsover Castle will move to its summer<br />
opening schedule when the property will be open daily. Visitors will be<br />
able to stretch their legs along the wall walk, explore the Little Castle,<br />
Terrace Range and Riding House, and children can let off some steam in<br />
the play area.<br />
