AWARD 2016<br />
In yet another achievement, Universiti Putra<br />
Malaysia (<strong>UPM</strong>) won the grand prize of 2016<br />
National Intellectual Property (AHIN) Award under<br />
the Organization (Best Management of Intellectual<br />
Property) category today for the fourth time since<br />
the introduction of AHIN in 2006.<br />
<strong>UPM</strong> received RM30,000, a championship trophy, an<br />
accompanying trophy, World intellectual Property<br />
which were presented by Minister of Domestic Trade,<br />
Cooperative and Consumerism, Datuk Seri Hamzah<br />
Zainudin to <strong>UPM</strong> Vice-Chancellor (Research and<br />
<strong>Innovation</strong>), Prof Dato’ Dr. Mohd Azmi Mohd Lila.<br />
Datuk Seri Hamzah gave away the awards on behalf<br />
of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak at an event<br />
which was held at the Putra World Trade Centre<br />
(PWTC) today.<br />
<strong>UPM</strong> has previously won the same award in 2008,<br />
2012 and 2014.
