water to its residents and
those of Indian Harbour

of West Melbourne. The city
requires a $150 deposit for
sewer and water, plus $20
administrative fee ($130, plus
$20 adminstrative fee required
for beachside residents).

Mims: The residents use
county water and sewer service.
A $50 deposit is required
for water service. A $120
deposit is required for water
and sewer service, and account
set-up fee of $15 is

Palm Bay: The city provides
water and sewer service
through its utilities department.
Residents pay $100
deposit for water, $100 for
sewer and a nonrefundable
administrative fee of $18.21.
For an additional $5, the city
will perform a credit check. If
a renter’s credit check is
favorable, the renter will only
be responsible for half the
deposit. If an owner’s credit
check is favorable, the deposit
may be waived. After three
years of excellent credit,
water and sewer deposits can

Titusville: Deposit amounts
vary based on meter size,
services available to the property
and prior utility credit

West Melbourne: A $100
deposit is required to establish
service and a nonrefundable
$30 service fee will be
added to your first bill. After
five years, the deposit is
refunded. Trash collection
billing included in watersewer
bill. Deposit is refunded
when service is disconnected.

TRASH COLLECTION
AND RECYCLING
Waste Management provides
trash collection in Brevard,
excluding Rockledge and
Titusville, where the cities
provide service. Curbside
service pick-up times and
disposal options vary across
Brevard.

parts of the county,

Brevard County Solid Waste
Management provides a
recycling hot line to answer
questions about how and
where to dispose of specific
items. Call 321-633-2042 or
visit brevardcounty.us/swr/
to download the recycling
directory.
Brevard County residents with
curbside service can request a
recycling bin. In Rockledge,
321-690-3961; Titusville,
321-383-5755. For all other
parts of the county, 321-636-
6894 or 321-723-4455. Bins
must be placed by the curb
before 6 a.m.
The Reusable Resources
Adventure Center accepts
items such as paper, wood,
fabric and plastic to recycle
into children’s art projects.
