When thinking about treehouses, you
typically think of children playing in tiny
shelters in a tree. For Jacklynn Williams,
she would testify that treehouses don’t
have to be so small–and certainly aren’t
just for children. As a child, Jacklynn would
take scraps from her father’s wooden shed
and build playhouses on the ground and
eventually up in the branches above. She
would build them, play in them for a few
hours, and then tear them down and start
a new one.
But Jacklynn didn’t leave her love for
treehouses in the past–instead she took her
childhood passion and turned it into a more
mature version as an adult. It took threeand-a-half
years to build, but her latest
treehouse is greater than she could have
ever imagined. And for the past year,
Jacklynn has enthusiastically used it for
entertaining friends, watching football,
and for personal relaxation.
