APRIL 2018 WHEN SOLD AND FINALLY 39 AND FINALLY ISSUE 02 £8.99 IN THIS ISSUE HEALTH & SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE WELDING WORLD APP why not grab it now? The Welding World Awards 2018 are in the final stages of preparation for the Gala evening on the 11th April at the Metroplole Hilton Hotel, NEC, Birmingham. In recent weeks the task of judging has been completed by several members of the industry and once again it has been a particularly tough task. Like all Awards programmes you have to be in it to win it and the Welding World Board consider this huge networking opportunity to be of real benefit to its Members in lifting the visibility of the industry and its participants. Some past winners are keen to retain their titles and there are a number of new contestants some with an international competence, others closer to home . It has been fascinating to hear how so many companies have developed their strategies for success and deployed their unique features and benefits to garner increasing support and commitment from their customers. I am reminded how my elderly work colleagues back in the late 1970’s, referred to the welding industry as a dying industry. The Welding industry is very much alive today and there are many nominees of the 2018 Welding World Awards Programme, who have a great story to tell and prove it. We encourage you to book your Gala evening tickets and enjoy a unique occasion to celebrate the success of the Welding Industry and those that make it happen in 2018.
