Ellis & Associates Re-Certification Course<br />
Sunday<br />
Y member Rate: $100<br />
Y non-member rate: $150<br />
Prerequisites: Swim 200 yards (8 lengths); tread water for 2<br />
minutes without using your hands; perform a feet first surface<br />
dive to lift a brick off the bottom of the pool, plus proof of valid<br />
Ellis and Associates certification. Upon successful completion of<br />
water skills and written exam, participants receive a 1-year recertification<br />
in Ellis & Associates Lifeguarding. Re-certification<br />
includes First Aid, Adult, Child and Infant CPR, Oxygen<br />
Administration and AED. No refunds regardless of passing or<br />
failing the course.<br />

Junior Lifeguarding: Part 1<br />

Junior Lifeguarding: Part 1 is a fun way to introduce physical fitness, first aid and<br />
water rescue techniques to those interested in becoming a fully certified lifeguard in<br />
the future. This class is intended for those 11 to 15 years old. Participants who<br />
successfully meet class requirements will be first aid certified at the end of the 7<br />
week term. Be sure to bring goggles, a bathing suit and a towel for when we get in<br />
the pool. Get ready to make a splash and start down the path of becoming whistle<br />
worthy!<br />
