UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA FOUNDATION<br />
The <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Nebraska</strong> Foundation is the primary fundraiser and manager <strong>of</strong> private gifts for<br />
the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Nebraska</strong> as designated by the <strong>University</strong>’s Board <strong>of</strong> Regents. Since its establishment<br />
in 1936, the Foundation’s mission has been to encourage and raise private financial support for the<br />
<strong>University</strong> from individuals, corporations and other foundations and to appropriately invest and<br />
distribute the funds raised or the endowment income for the benefit <strong>of</strong> the <strong>University</strong>.<br />
A private <strong>Nebraska</strong> nonpr<strong>of</strong>it corporation, the Foundation works for the benefit <strong>of</strong> the <strong>University</strong><br />
and works closely with leaders from each <strong>of</strong> its four campuses including <strong>UNO</strong>.<br />
Individuals or groups interested in supporting education or related activities can directly support<br />
<strong>UNO</strong> through a variety <strong>of</strong> methods including outright and planned gifts. For more information,<br />
