Homer Glen Community
Clean-Up Day
10 a.m.-3 p.m. April 22.
The first-ever clean-up day
in Homer Glen is inspired by
four local mothers who decided
to meet and organize
the efforts. There are many
ways to contribute, such
as going to local neighborhoods
and parks and cleaning
up any liter. Also, adults
can assist in cleaning up
along the roadways. One can
also go to one of the designated
areas in Homer Glen,
including the lot across from
the Meijer parking lot and
the space behind Goodings
Grove School. The group
is working to get bags and
gloves donated by local businesses.
