League<br />

Over the last few weeks the League programme in all three Divisions has been<br />

decimated, but that has not stopped Wem Town going clear at the top of the<br />

Division and they are now clear =tle favourites.<br />

Following three consecu=ve League wins where they scored 18 and conceded<br />

a single goal, last Saturday saw them draw 1-1 against today’s visitors <strong>Wrens</strong><br />

<strong>Nest</strong>. Jim Astley was on the scoresheet for the League leaders. Gornal Athle=c<br />

leap frogged Newport Town into second spot with their fiMh consecu=ve<br />

league win, 2-0 at home to AllscoB. Newport dropped into third spot following<br />

a hard fought 1-1 draw away at Worcester Raiders who themselves have<br />

dropped slightly off the pace.<br />

St. Mar=ns made it 11 wins out of 12 with a 3-2 home win against<br />

Bustleholme. Brendan Price gave the home side a 5th minute lead before<br />

Bustleholme responded with two quick goals to give them a half =me lead.<br />

Second half goals from Jamie Hands and a Callum Graybrook goal 10 minutes<br />

from =me sealed the win to keep the pressure on near the top of the table.<br />

Team Dudley recorded the best win of the day with an excellent 5-1 win away<br />

at Telford Juniors. Goals came from Tyrone Clarke (2), Alex Pinches, Vlad<br />

Lungu and Marc Lawrence.<br />

In the Premier Division Wolverhampton Spor=ng Community opened up a 9<br />

point gap at the top of the table with a 3-1 away win at high riding Bewdley<br />

Town. The win extended their winning streak to nine league games, a brace<br />

from Tom Hill followed Jonathan LeRord’s equaliser aMer Luke Morris had<br />

given the home side a half =me lead. Black Country Rangers remain in second<br />

spot following their 4-0 drubbing of AFC Bridgnorth whilst Malvern Town<br />

cemented their third place with a 4-1 home win against Stone Old Alleyians.<br />

Dene WhiBall Williams put the home side in front on 9 minutes with Sam<br />
