Marble Cave: It is a cave in Crimea,<br />

at the lower plateau of Chatyr-<br />

Dag, mountainous massif. Due to<br />

its uniqueness, the Marble Cave<br />

has become famous worldwide.<br />

Speleologists consider it among<br />

the top-five most beautiful caves<br />

of the planet, and one of the Seven<br />

Natural Wonders of Ukraine. It has<br />

been included in the International<br />

Association of equipped caves.<br />

National Nature Park “Podilski<br />

Tovtry”: It is a national park, located<br />

in the Horodok, Kamianets-Podilskyi,<br />

and the Chemerivtsi Raions (districts)<br />

of Khmelnytskyi Oblast province in<br />

southern region of the western Ukraine.<br />

It is the biggest nature conservation<br />

area in Ukraine. The park is a natureconservational,<br />

recreational, culturally<br />

enlightening, and scientifically<br />

researching institution of national<br />

importance.<br />

Svitiaz: It is the deepest lake in<br />

Ukraine, with a maximum depth of<br />

58.4 m, and is also the second largest<br />

in the country. Svitiaz belongs to<br />

groups of Shatsk’s lakes, which are<br />

located in Polissya (Volyn region) in<br />

the utmost north-western corner of<br />

Ukraine, close to the borders with<br />

Poland and Belarus. The lake gets<br />

warm in the summer, and its clean<br />

water and sandy bottom makes it a<br />

very popular tourist site.<br />

Lake Synevyr: It is the largest lake<br />

in the Carpathian Mountains of<br />

Ukraine. It is located in Mizhhiria<br />

Raion, Zakarpattia Oblast, not far<br />

from the village of Synevyr Poliana. It<br />

is part of the National natural preserve<br />

“Synevyr”, which was established in<br />

1989. Scientists estimate that the lake<br />

formed about ten thousand years ago.<br />
