In being compared to ‘Bagets’ an 80’s allboys
film also produced by Viva Films:
They find it humbling to be compared in a
successful movie. But for them there’s nothing
to compare because it’s an all new era. They
are representing a new generation. The movie
will show the struggles and the good times this
generation can offer.
Giving the ‘Fboi’ a creative and positive
connotation:
Julian Trono as #Flyboi:
"Yung character ko dito is also into dancing
siguro yung fly stands for sobrang cool nya,
very personal. ‘Yun yung nagdi-describe dun sa
character ko dun sa film and sya yung pinakang
chill lang."
Vitto Marquez as #Fitboi:
“I am into fitness talaga. I play volleyball with
my sister during free time.”
Andrew Muhlach as #Funnyboi:
“Ako dito yung funny boy. Medyo, medyo funny.
Nasa charateristics ko talaga.”
Dan Hushcka as #Funkyboi:
“That’s probably because my
character sa movie is a DJ and he
studies music. I am super into music, it’s easy
portraying yung character namin.”
Jack Reid as #Fastboi:
“My character was fast in everything, fast to fall
asleep, even though he’s with his friends he’d
be the first one to sleep, he’s always tired cause
he’s a part-time bartender but he’s also fast to
get girls.”
Our ‘Fbois’ also had their fair share of
minor mischief adventures when they
are still in school!
Julian trade his test paper with his classmate
which has a perfect score to get an action
figure that his grandmother promised him in
exchange to his perfect tests scores. Andrew
and Vitto had experienced to cut class which
is very common adventure to most of the
students. Dan will always remember his
mischief because he got a scar on the forehead
for doing a fun flip in the rock climbing wall
when he’s 12 or 13 year old. A self-proclaimed
‘Naughty Kid’—Jack got a suspension for
fighting back at a kid using a fire extinguisher.
The Friendship that has been formed
during and after the filming:
The boys already knew each other because
they are all from Viva Family. However, their
friendship had been cemented through the
workshops, promotional tour, and of course
while filming the movie. Their bond is blatant
during the photoshoot and interview. Andrew
said, “lumalabas kami na kami lang talagang
lima”. Julian also added that the boys already
had their own space in his heart.
The ‘Fbois’ Relationship Status!
Andrew: “Single ako, focus muna tayo sa
career natin.”
Vitto: “ No. I am single right now.”
Dan: “A girlfriend? Not at the moment.”
Jack: “No, very single.”
Julian: “A lot of people inspires me. Let’s
consider this one person. 'at tinaas nya ang
kilay nya' yan yung isusulat mo or kinindatan
nya 'ko, no no no basta there’s a very very
special person.”
