Volvo EW55B Wheeled Excavator
The new Volvo EW55B is in the same size class as the
popular Volvo EC55B and Volvo ECR58 (short-swing radius)
excavators, but it is equipped with a dual-axle wheel
drive chassis. This unique engineering design allows the
operator to maintain faster on-job travel times, provides
high mobility and reduces transportation costs between
jobsites with a higher ground/on-road speed (the excavator
has a top speed of 18.6 mph). The compactness of the
machine’s design makes it easier to operate in urban environments
and narrow streets, with the capability of turning
movements in the most confined spaces. RS#50
John Deere Skid Steers
With a unified design, John Deere’s 300 Series skid
steers are more productive and more reliable than ever
before — offering customers a lower daily operating cost
than their predecessors. Among the 300 features are excellent
stability, resulting in faster speeds and quicker cycles.
This stability is delivered by a low center of
gravity due to heavy components being mounted lower in
the frame; a long wheelbase provides a smoother ride
with less fore-to-aft rocking. A patented vertical-lift boom,
unique to Deere skid steers, provides a true vertical lift
pattern, ensuring the machine remains stable when lifting
heavy palletized loads from flat beds. RS#51
Genie Telehandler
Able to reach heights of 18 ft in a single cycle, the Genie
GHT-5519 telehandler is ideal for applications requiring the
versatility to lift, move and place various types of materials
and loads. It comes standard with four-wheel drive and
three power-assisted steering modes: two-wheel, four-wheel
coordinated and four-wheel crab steer. The GHT-5519 offers
smooth joystick controls and it’s engineered to handle a
wide range of attachments, including side shift, rotating
fork carriages, pallet forks, buckets and a 6-ft truss boom. It
features a maximum lift capacity of 5,500 lbs, a maximum
reach of 11 ft, 3 in. and a Deutz F4M2011, four-cylinder,
63-hp, diesel engine. RS#52
Terex Zero Tail Swing Excavator
Designed for trenching and excavating in space-restrictive
applications, the Terex TC50 compact crawler excavator
is the newest addition to the company’s zero tail
swing lineup. It is designed to turn within its tracks,
guaranteeing that the rear of the machine does not swing
into nearby structures, landscaping or oncoming traffic
during operation. In addition, the offset boom allows for
working in close proximity to buildings and foundations.
Ideal for landscape, plumbing, septic, electrical and utility
installations, the TC50 is designed with an 39.4-hp
Yanmar 4TNV88 engine and a load-sensing, load-independent
flow division hydraulics system that is matched
to the machine’s size. RS#53
ASV All Surface Loader
The RC-30 is ASV’s most compact all surface loader.
It’s a low-impact rubber track loader that can work hard
and tread lightly in a wide variety of applications.
Although it’s a compact machine, about the size of an
ATV, it can perform more work in varying terrains than
larger tractors or skid steers. Owners of the RC-30 can
work on top of turf without causing damage one minute
and carry a bucket load of rocks through a muddy ditch
the next. For landowners and hobby farmers, the RC-30
gives you control of your jobs rather than the terrain or
weather dictating when your work will get done. For landscapers,
rental stores and contractors, the RC-30 means
more productivity and easy transportation. RS#54
Boxer Mini Skid Steer
The newest and smallest model in the Boxer Equipment
product line — the 320 mini skid steer — is a dedicated track
machine that comes standard with a 7-in. wide rubber
track that produces only 3.2 psi of ground pressure to
reduce damage to existing lawns and landscapes. The 320
also offers a 20-hp Kohler Command Pro air-cooled engine
and a two-pump, 3,000-psi hydraulic operating system that
develops 8 gpm of hydraulic flow to run the machine’s
auxiliary and propulsion systems. The 320 has a universal
compact utility loader (CUL) mounting plate, so any
attachment for an existing mini skid will fit on the Boxer
320 as well. RS#55
