Castle is a popular venue for meetings and
celebrations and offers organisers a choice
of 11 impressive rooms.
We recently caught up with Kelly Mole, Head
of Sales, to find out what it's like working
in a building which has entertained Kings
and Queens.
Tell us about your role?
I joined the Castle in March this year to
support the growth and development of the
Wedding, Conference and Events business.
This will be achieved by supporting, leading
and developing the knowledge of the sales
team whilst guiding them with my 25 years of
experience within the industry.
What does a typical day involve?
It starts with a coffee and a catch up with
the team so I am aware of their action plans,
plus a quick look at my appointments and
priorities for the day. I then check my emails
and the day begins. It can vary so much
from show rounds on site for new business
or networking off site for new leads and of
course day to day meetings with the team.
