C. PROGRAM OUTCOMES
1. Integrate knowledge situated in nursing practice, health related sciences, and humanities when
designing and providing patient-centered care.
2. Manage care to patients across the lifespan in which the dignity, spirituality, cultural context and
rights of the individual, family and community are respected.
3. Promote nursing’s obligation to legal, ethical and moral standards in context with changes in
health care, health care policy, regulation and financing.
4. Communicate in a manner that fosters respectful and collaborative interdisciplinary decision
making, thus enhancing patient satisfaction and health outcomes.
5. Engage in the scholarship of evidence-based practice and research to support high quality health
outcomes and safe nursing care.
