David Grossman, a Hebrew<br />
University alumnus, is a novelist and<br />
nonfiction author whose works have<br />
been translated into more than<br />
30 languages. Acclaimed for his<br />
intellectual contributions to Israeli<br />
society, Grossman received a Hebrew<br />
University Doctor Philosophiae<br />
Honoris Causa degree in 2017. He<br />
is the first Israeli recipient of the Man<br />
Booker International Prize for Literature.<br />
The Israel Prize winners will be<br />
celebrated at a reception hosted by<br />
Israeli President Reuven Rivlin during<br />
the Hebrew University’s 81st International<br />
Board of Governors Meeting.<br />

were treated to a special performance<br />
by Michael Bolton and the proceeds<br />
from the event benefitted the Palm<br />
Beach Memory and Cognitive Research<br />
Fund. Dinner Chairs were Roberta and<br />
