Part-Time Custodian Opportunity
The County of Stettler No. 6 is accepting applications to fill two part-time
Custodian positions. One 30 hrs per week and one 10 hours per week with
added hours for extended coverage as required.
Under the general supervision of Director of Public Works the successful
applicants will be responsible for the maintenance, cleaning and basic repair
work for the County of Stettler Administration and Public Works Buildings.
Duties will include:
• Maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the facilities
• Cleaning offices, workstations, boardrooms, washrooms, kitchens and
common areas including sweep, vacuum and mop
• Maintain supplies
• Establish pro-active maintenance schedules and solutions
Required Skills:
• Effective time management skills
• Detail oriented
• Basic maintenance of buildings
Preferred skills and experience:
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Preference given to individuals with a background in building
maintenance and repairs
• Reliable transportation to travel between facilities
The successful applicant will be required to provide a criminal records check.
