FIVE NCRE PROJECTS BEGAN THEIR TEST PERIOD
In April 2018, the Environmental Assessment Service granted the environmental approval to three NCRE projects, totaling 18.3 MW.
On the other hand, 13 NCRE projects were admitted to environmental permit process during this month, totaling 384.6 MW, of which we must
point out the “Calama” wind farm (162 MW) of ACERA’s member company Engie, and the “Pampa Tigre” Photovoltaic Park (142 MW) of Andes
Mainstream, also a member of ACERA.
In the Exempt Resolution Nº293 of April 23, 2018, published by the National Energy Commission - CNE, two NCRE projects were declared in
construction, totaling 7.2 MW. The same document states that five NCRE projects, accounting for 26.6 MW, began their test period.
