UGLY DUCKLING

Ugly Duckling is lonely and fed-up,
ignored by those around her who
think she is too ugly to fit in. She tries
to make friends with fellow ducklings
as well as with frogs, cats and even a
fox, but realising she is not like any of
these animals, she is left sad and
alone. Follow the duckling on her
journey as she overcomes her
troubles and realises that she was
beautiful all along.
Retelling the famous Hans Christian
Andersen fairytale, Ugly Duckling is

embraces natural history, folklore and

ME AND MY BEE

Me & My Bee is a show for children &
adults, tackling a bigger issue in a
more intimate manner. The show
plays with how we can make what we
imagine become real. It is about
cause and effect. It is about humans
as much as it is about bees. It is
about doing more to help, before it is
too late

Wow!
Fruit Bowl, the original fruit snack company, have found themselves
between a rock and a soft fruit (and a hippo, monkey, snow leopard
and, errm a turtle). To say that their corporate identity has had a
little shake up would be something of an understatement. But we
can tell you this…...they are REALLY rocking it.
The newest kids’ craze of Rock Hunting, or Rock Painting, has hit
Fruit Bowl Fans and Fruitivators countrywide, and for this Half Term,
they have organised a fantastic project to really engage your little
darlings, get them outside, using their possibly slightly fuzzy
navigational skills, but also using their Social Media all at the same
time! So how did they do that?
Well, The Fruit Bowl Family has had a makeover, and they would
like to celebrate and share it with us all. To encourage healthy
eating, especially in children’s snacks, they have called in the
cavalry, with Hettie the Hippo (or River Horse as she prefers) Max
the Monkey, Lily the Snow Leopard, and Todd the Turtle. They have
each been beautifully painted on a rock, and hidden somewhere.
They WANT you to find them, and share the fruity joy.
There are 25 locations across the UK, and each time you post a
rock picture, you get entered into the draw - and one lucky little fruit
bat is going to win a massive fruity prize. Check out the poster

Summer Workshop
Stagecoach Performing Arts Huntingdon is excited to announce our
Summer 2018 Workshop based on the fantastic musical 'Matilda'
The workshop will be a week of fun and from the moment students
arrive at the Workshop they'll be caught up in the excitement of fun
and creativity whilst making new friends. They will experience the
process of casting, rehearsing and performing, working with a
professional team of teachers and they will develop confidence and
skills in 5 memorable days. The Workshop takes place at
Godmanchester Primary School from 13th to 17th August and the
students will be able to show parents how far they have come in a
week with a performance on the Friday. The workshop is open to
non Stagecoach students too and places are filling up fast- so don't
