Blind flanges – These flanges are used as a part of fixing or sealing an end of the piping
framework. Mainly utilized as a part of high pressure weight applications to stop the
stream of fluids and gases, these flanges are most favoured for their simple entry and easy
access.
Weld neck flanges – These flanges are attached to the pipe by welding the neck of the
flanges, which helps in transferring the stress from the flange to the pipe, making it most
suitable for high pressure applications.
