COBH EDITION 18TH MAY - DIGITAL VERSION
Car insurance is not optional – but not everybody understands that. I was party to a conversation recently where I heard a story that more than surprised me. It concerned a young, well educated, professional lady who is thirty years of age. She graduated from university with an honours degree and is employed in a management role in the IT industry. She is a bright lady by any standards.

Breaking The Silence - Cobh Community College Fundraiser
Breaking The Silence are delighted to receive the very kind donation of €400 from Cobh
Community College following their recent fundraiser on our behalf.
Elaine O’Meara captured this fundraiser very well in her words “On Thursday the 22nd of
March we held a plant and craft sale in the school to sell our unique planters that were hand
crafted using pre-treated decking boards and painted by our students. The students also
painted unique designs onto birdhouses that were also made. They created wind chimes,
ceramic glazed mushrooms, painted stones, tea lighters and framed sketches of Cobh”.
For further information on the FREE courses Breaking The Silence provide in Suicide Prevention
& Intervention plus Self Harm please check out facebook page “Breaking The Silence
