There is a growing market demand<br />

for Master <strong>of</strong> Finance graduates.<br />

According to the 2017 GMAC Corporate Recruiters Survey,<br />

48 percent <strong>of</strong> recruiters report plans to hire applicants with<br />

a Master <strong>of</strong> Finance credential—a 45 percent increase from<br />

2016. For its inaugural class this fall, the finance department<br />

is aggressively recruiting a class <strong>of</strong> 40 students. The goal is to<br />

have 60 students enrolled starting in 2019.<br />

By adding new layers <strong>of</strong> programming to the strong portfolio<br />

<strong>of</strong>fered in the Full-time MBA Program, <strong>Tippie</strong>’s new Master <strong>of</strong><br />

Finance is setting itself apart from the 72 other programs in the<br />

The international deadline for fall admission<br />

was May 1 and the final domestic deadline is<br />

June 1. The program also has been approved<br />

as a 4+1—current <strong>Tippie</strong> students can apply to<br />

the program as a junior and, if admitted, complete<br />

the undergraduate and master’s degree in<br />

five years.
