Using a wide range of options
Just like real toolkits, mental ones also gather dust and fluff in the corners
and split at the seams so things fall out. Take time to regularly empty out (mentally go
through) your toolkit to remind yourself what’s there and what hasn’t proved useful.
Remember to keep observing others as they will have tools that you can pop into your
toolkit too.
The person with the most options open to them in interactions will always remain
calmest.
