C:
O Lord, our Lord, how glorious is your name in all the earth. Almighty God, merciful Father,
you crown our life with your love. You take away our sin; you comfort our spirit;
you make us pure and holy in your sight. You did not spare your only Son, but gave him up for us all.
O Lord, our Lord, how glorious is your name in all the earth.
O Son of God, eternal Word of the Father, you came to live with us; you made your Father known;
you washed us from our sins in your own blood.
You are the King of glory; you are the Lord! O Lord, our Lord, how glorious is your name in all the earth.
ones at the marriage feast in heaven; through Jesus Christ, your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the
Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
ANTHEM (10:30) “There Is a Higher Throne” Youth Choir
There is a higher throne than all this world has known, Where faithful ones from ev’ry tongue will one day come.
Before the Son we’ll stand, made faultless through the Lamb; Believing hearts find promised grace; salvation comes.
Refrain: Hear heaven’s voices sing; their thund’rous anthem rings,
Through em’rald courts and sapphire skies their praises rise.
All glory, wisdom, pow’r, strength, thanks, and honor are to
God our King who reigns on high forevermore.
And there we’ll find our home, our life before the throne. We’ll honor him in perfect song where we belong.
He’ll wipe each tear-stained eye as thirst and hunger die. The Lamb becomes our Shepherd-King; we’ll reign with him.
FIRST LESSON Isaiah 65:17-25 (pg. 1164)
17
“Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come
to mind.
18
But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy.
19
I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my people; the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no
more.
