I. (8:30-8:35) Introduce the topic—you want others to underst<strong>and</strong> the<br />
sequence <strong>of</strong> events you have written, so keep your tenses consistent.

story, use present tense.<br />
(8:40-8:50) When discussing true past events, use past tense.<br />
(Although that is different when speaking, past tense is expected<br />
