THE LORD IS MY PROTECTOR
I would like to testify on the goodness of our lord,
his grace and his goodness and his protection is
sufficient. I have been a member of KICC for many
years and God has done many miracles in my
life. However, this miracle surpasses every other
miracle!

gunman was directly behind me, shooting his
gun repeatedly. As I was running away from the
crossfire he saw me but at the same time he never
saw me. This was surely Gods intervention, I can’t
even explain was it like. It was as though I was
suddenly invisible to them.
During the recent Easter break I went to a boxing
event with friends and family. Afterwards I took my
cousin to his home in North London.
As I was driving back home, along Tottenham High
Street, I suddenly heard shooting. To my surprise I
saw a young teenage boy directly opposite me on
the other side of the road, shooting a real hand gun
at a group of people.
I panicked and just drove further down the road. I
called my cousin and told him about the shooting.
I told him not to leave the house that night.
While I was still talking to my cousin I stopped at
a red. Suddenly I heard a loud bang! A large 4X4
vehicle drove into the back of my car and drove off
at very high speed. Seconds later there were more
gun shots and loud banging as the bullets were
piercing through cars and metal on the road side.
I turned to the right hand side and I saw the same
gunman as before now in a vehicle with a gang and
they were shooting in my direction – they were
shooting at a rival gang in a car just behind me.
I kept running, I didn’t know if they were going to
mistake me for someone else. As I was running
past the gunmen everything happened so fast.
I was talking to God, thinking unfortunately my
time may be up. I was asking God why do I have
to die like this? What about my family? But God
is a miracle worker. He kept me protected and
covered me during the whole situation. I escaped
unharmed and no innocent member of the public
died that night.
Unfortunately the same gang took the life of
another young teenage girl just 2 days after. I want
to encourage the church to continue praying for
our youths in London, UK.

GOD IS OUR VERY PRESENT HELP
I want to thank God for His love and mercy. Some
time ago, my younger brother was arrested on an
account of a crime he knew nothing about. Despite
the fact that he had an alibi, the anti-robbery
squad (SARS) picked him up and he was charged.
We employed lawyers, but to no avail.
I wanted to drive away but I couldn’t because my
car was now stuck in road works after being hit.
A bullet hit my car, people were screaming and
running around in a panic and some were running
into their homes. More gangs where arriving with
guns. I decided that if I was going to die that night,
it wouldn’t be in my car in a crossfire of bullets.
I decided to leave my car and run for my life. I
jumped out of my car and ran down the road
However, one particular Sunday several
declarations were made during service, and I
trusted God for His release.
Following this I received a call to say that my
brother had been discharged and acquitted. He
was released. Praise God!
