#5- Salary Adjustments Proposal-
Bob moved that this be discussed in executive session.
Executive Session: called at 10:50am- Exe. Session – Bobby Hart, Laura Lewis,
and Denia Brown were excused from the Exe. Session.
Motion was made by Clarke Scott to enter executive session.

Motion made by Rita Carter to come out of executive session at 12:10pm.
Item #5-Per Bob-The position replacement, as well as, the salary increase was
approved and added to the minutes.

#6- Convention for 2018-2019.
Special Talent limited to 2 minutes across the board.
Gwen Young stated we need to inform clubs that there is no practice time at the
National convention.
It is the top 5 preliminary winners that participate in the sessions at Nationals.
Laura Lewis gave an explanation as to why there needs to be only 5.
Donna Wear asked will group talent time change to 2 minutes. Laura gave the
answer to this which is no, it will stay 6 minutes.
Art, Junior Wreath, Junior Photography, Junior Essay competitions will go
through changes.
Convention was applauded by Bob for a job well done to not change anything
this year.
