been used on these caterpillar<br />
infestations.<br />
“If the pasture has been sprayed<br />
with Malathion, Orthene (Acephate),<br />
Sevin (Carbaryl), or Decis<br />
(Deltamethrin), each product comes<br />
with different grazing restrictions,”<br />
explains Lindquist.<br />
“Decis has no grazing restriction,<br />
but there is a one day restriction for<br />
Malathion and Sevin. The Orthene<br />
label indicates that the treated areas<br />

Ducks Unlimited Canada is now accepting bids for <strong>2018</strong> hay permits on the following properties:<br />
1. N1/2 - 24-29-5-W4M (approximately 270 acres)<br />
2. W1/2 - 26-29-5-W4M (approximately 290 acres)<br />
3. SW - 7-28-4 W4M (approximately 120 acres)<br />
4. W1/2 & SE - 12-28-5-W4M (approximately 450 acres)<br />
NOTE:<br />
• Bids will be on $ per tonne basis. Payment will be based on number and weight of bales cut.<br />
• Permits are for the indicated term with no guarantee of renewal.<br />
• Bids will be accepted from local producers.<br />
