HOMESCHOOL BASEBALL
The West Houston Thunder is a baseball program
for homeschool boys between the ages of 8-18.
We offer baseball programs for Elementary,
Junior High and High School level competition.
We regularly compete against schools, leagues,
select teams and other homeschool teams.
Our practice location is Memorial Ashford Little
League, 12900 Westmere Drive, Houston. For the
summer months, we offer Boot Camp for ages
13-18, Skills Clinic for ages 8-14 and Wiffle Ball
& Pizza for all ages. Registration is required for
these events. Fall baseball will begin August 28 th .

The West Houston Thunder High School team
traveled to central Florida in May to play in the
Homeschool World Series (HWS). Twenty-five
teams from around the country participated.
The players and coaches are proud of the fact
the program improved upon last year’s Division
III championship. Andrew Wood and Nathan
Lindblade were selected as Division II All Stars.
Thunder participates in the HWS every May.
ALBION HURRICANES FC (AHFC)
AHFC has multiple campuses in and around
Houston . The club invites all interested players
from the ages of 7 to 18, to the Player Tryouts &
Evaluations and to become part of our success.
We ask that all interested players pre-register
before coming out to the fields. Please visit

AHFC offers JHSL (a recreational program for
5-10 year old) at our Cy Fair and Central locations
and offers additional training at Katy Friday
Night Academy and New Territory Thusday

SUMMER SOCCER CAMPS 2018
Celebrating 22 years! Online registration is now
open for summer soccer camps 2018! Sports
Quest is a non-profit soccer training organization,
dedicated to sharing Biblical truth to reach, teach
& encourage next generation leaders through
soccer. Sports Quest summer camps provide a
fun, safe and educational soccer environment
for boys and girls aged 5-12 years. Each camper
receives a free soccer ball, a free camp T-shirt and
other commemorative gifts and awards.
Along with technical and tactical soccer skills
training, daily competitions and biblically based
life lessons, Sports Quest provides a camp experience
to equip each child for success on and

WEST HOUSTON RUGBY CLUB
West Houston Rugby Club offers excellent opportunities
for players of all ages from minis to
adults to participate in one of America’s fastest
growing sports. Our coaches are fully accredited
with USA Rugby and include former European
premiership players. We are a not for profit club
with a mission to provide outstanding club management,
a fun social environment and the feeling

KATY AREA RUNNING CLUB
The Katy Area Running Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit
corporation which exists to serve people living
in and around Katy, Texas who have an interest
in running. We are a community of people of all
ages, backgrounds, heritages and abilities who
share a common interest - running! Our focus
is on group runs, having fun, socializing and
sharing our knowledge and experience with our
members and the public. We welcome all who are
interested in joining us. We have a full calendar
of runs, events and socials. We hold group runs
every Saturday morning at the Sergeant Hatch
Sports Park off the south I-10 feeder road just
east of Barker Cypress Rd. On Tuesdays (5 AM
and 6:30 PM) we meet at the Cinco Ranch Junior
High Track for speedwork and on Thursday (6:30
PM) we meet at Crosspoint Community Church
for tempo runs of various distances and paces.

KATY CANOE & KAYAK CLUB (KC/KC)
Established March of 2014 (Over 200 Members).
Never paddled before, that’s okay too! We don’t
own a store, don’t purchase anything yet! Join
our meetings and we can answer your questions
and/or assist you in trying out new gear and
equipment. KC/KC is a non-profit organization
with major Sponsors. Must be at least 21 years of
age to join. LIFE VEST/PFD IS A MUST!!!!
We meet every 3 rd Wednesday of each month
