National VCC Rally for Cancer - Daffodil Run on Sunday 26th August<br />
Gather at Smales Farm at 10:00 for registration and a wander, leaving at 11.15.<br />
Display at Warkworth Wharf at 12:00<br />
Peoples’ Choice prize giving at <strong>14</strong>:00<br />
Leave for Kaipara Flats Airfield to see vintage aircraft, weather permitting, & travel home.<br />
Volunteers are needed for:<br />
1. Canvass flyers to businesses in Morrison Drive area: date to be agreed, but on morning<br />
about 2 weeks before. 4 people.<br />
2. Registration for display at the Wharf. Arrive at 11:000 until approx.13:30 2 people<br />
3. Bucket collection at the Wharf. Arrive at 11:45 until <strong>14</strong>:00 approx. 4 people<br />
4. Club Stand. Erect the gazebo, respond to enquiries, clear away afterwards. 11:30 until<br />
<strong>14</strong>:15. 2 people<br />
5. People’s Choice. Help erect club stand, give out and receive voting slips, count votes<br />
and help clearing up. 11:30 until <strong>14</strong>:15. 2 people<br />
Please let me know if you wish to do the rally from the Shore, but then you will not be<br />
available to help. Would those who will display their vehicles at the Wharf also let me<br />
know and be in position by 12:00. You could also help at the Wharf and if we all work together<br />
then those helping could also go to Kaipara Flats Airfield.<br />
I look forward to all the replies flooding in. I will let you know if you are needed or if we<br />
have so many that you can take the time off! One or two gaps are missing because I<br />
already have some volunteers!<br />
