their culinary education.
Registration Begins Nov. 26 for Winter and Spring Sessions
Registration for both winter and spring sessions at Atlantic Cape will be offered to new and returning
students based on the number of credits earned at the time of registration. Credits must have been
completed, not in progress. Registration begins:
• Nov. 26 for students with at least 48 credits
• Nov. 27 for students with at least 32 credits
• Nov. 28 for students with at least 17 credits
• Nov. 29 and 30 for returning students
• Dec. 3 for all students
Normal registration hours are weekdays, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., with extended hours to 6:30 p.m., Nov. 26-29, and
Dec. 3. The college will be closed Dec. 24-Jan. 1.
Winter term classes will be held Mondays-Saturdays, Jan. 2-16. Spring semester classes begin Jan. 22.
Depending on their status as new or returning students, students can register for spring classes in person

Nine Complete Noncredit Culinary Program; Training to be Offered at CMCC
The Academy of Culinary Arts awarded certificates to nine
students who completed a five-month noncredit Culinary Arts
Training Program Nov. 14.
Nine students completed the ACA’s 5-month
Noncredit Culinary Training Program and were
recognized at a graduation ceremony Nov. 14. Chef

Students who completed the program include: Leo Allen of
Millville, David Brachew of Somers Point, Harold Corbin
of Bridgeton, Linda Duke of Gibbstown, Chez James of
Atlantic City, Anita May of Ventnor, Nikia Rivera of
Bridgeton, Justin Rowe of Rio Grande and Wilson Turner
of Mays Landing.
The students received their certificates during an awards
ceremony in Careme’s. Chef Jon Davies, an adjunct
instructor, taught the course.
The career preparation program offers participants hands-on courses to either learn new skills or enhance
existing ones. The next course begins Monday, Jan. 7, at the Cape May County campus. Restaurateurs can
sponsor a promising employee with a scholarship for the program. For more information about
