sandpittheatre.co.uk, by calling our<br />

Box Office on 01727 799565 (Mon-Fri<br />

11:30am - 3:30pm), or by visiting the<br />

theatre in person.<br />

GETTING HERE AND PARKING<br />

Location: The SandPit Theatre is<br />

situated in the grounds of<br />

Sandringham School, approximately a<br />

1.5 mile walk from St.Albans City train<br />

station and the town centre where there<br />

are several bus routes.<br />

Parking: The school car park is<br />

available and free, but does get very<br />

busy. There are 2 main car parks, the<br />

first entered by the main gate, the second<br />

entered by the top gate (marked<br />

deliveries) and an overflow car park to<br />

the rear of the theatre. If the car park<br />

is full, the majority of the surrounding<br />

residential roads are all free parking.<br />

ACCESSIBILITY<br />

We aim to offer our disabled<br />

customers the same experiences as all<br />

other people.<br />

There are 2 permanent wheelchair<br />

positions in the auditorium. Customers<br />

can also buy a companion’s seat at the<br />

same rate.<br />

We have non-allocated seating,<br />

however if you have a disability that<br />

requires specific seats please do<br />

contact us.<br />

Assistance dogs are welcome.<br />

BOOKING FEES AND PAYMENT<br />

By phone & in person: £1 per card<br />

transaction<br />

Online: 75p per ticket booking fee,<br />

The maximum booking fee you will be<br />

charged when booking online is £4.50.<br />

If paying by cheque, please make it<br />

payable to Sandringham School.<br />

OTHER INFORMATION<br />

Reservations: We do not take<br />

unpaid reservations, all tickets must be<br />

paid for at the time of booking.<br />

Refunds and exchanges: We do<br />

not offer refunds unless a show is<br />

cancelled or sold out where we<br />

offer a buy back system. Tickets can<br />

be exchanged at our discretion to an<br />

alternative performance of the same<br />

production, subject to availability. A fee<br />

will apply for this service.<br />

Babes in Arms: The SandPit<br />

Theatre encourages access for all. An<br />

infant aged below 2 years, will need<br />

to be accomodated on the parent or<br />

guardian’s lap as no seat will be<br />

allocated. There will be no charge for<br />

this. Children over the age of 2 should<br />

have a paid concession ticket or full<br />

price where no concessionary rate is<br />

offered.<br />

Postage: Optional postage is<br />

included on all bookings unless<br />

otherwise stated. Your tickets will be<br />

sent out to you via Second Class Royal<br />

Mail. If you do not receive your tickets<br />

within 7 days please call us on<br />

01727 799565.
