Why users are downgrading iOS versions after Apple opens the gate,
briefly?
The iPhone generation goes gaga whenever the Apple Company launches a product. In fact,
people have gone to the large extents, such as sell their properties and stand in queues for days,
to get one phone.
But, do we understand the backdrops of this over and extremely expensive phone? One of the
many contexts would be using iPhone tempered glass screen all the time, and every-time and the
other primary backdrop would be being stuck with new software once you have updated and not
being able to go back to the old one.
Apple is infamous for not allowing the outdated software to stick around for long. So, once you
have updated, no matter how bad it is for your phone and no matter how much you wish to go
back, you can’t go back to the previous version. And it has also been seen that the older models
of iPhones tend to work slower and slower when updated with newer versions of IOS.
Basically, the iPhone is one such phone that is going to come up with better versions every year
and after sometime the model you’ll buy will lose its zeal, when compared to the newer versions.
So, before you upgrade your phone, the apple servers build a sign-up, and once the new version
is released to the public, the previous version is removed after a month.
Earlier the company had made a small mistake when they allowed their customers to degrade to
lower levels of IOS and majority of the users did that, a lot of them went as far as back as 6.1.3
but a lot of them were also stuck at IOS 10, and all of this was done just within a brief period. So,

the users took full advantage of that total control and tried every version to find out which suits
their phone best, hence exploiting the situation to their advantage.
But, don't get all excited if you thought you could get a chance to do that too, because Apple was
quick in realising their mistake and made sure that now only IOS 11 was up for updates, so
whether it suits the user’s phone or not, they are stuck with it.
All the users can do is hope that the new features offered make their experience better and more
enjoyable. But, Apple does say that there is some hope in the future. They might give an update
to the users, which allows the users to turn off some features for older iPhones.
I think what we need is evaluating the need, and understanding whether we really need such an
expensive phone, and spend more on the iPhone tempered glass screen and still face problems
with its software, is this worth it. But then again, there surely are certain advantages of owning
an iPhone; after all, it just did not become the best selling phone, like that only.
