USB Type C- Simplest, Smartest and Lowest Cost
Connecting and sharing information between the various devices is an essential part of the
digital world. Communication helps in getting access to specific data or information as well as
to store the information in multiple devices for ensuring its backup.

FireWire, Ethernet, MIDI, eSATA/eSATAP, and thunderbolt, led to its popularity and it became
the most commonly used connecting mode.
Thus, USB replaced the interfaces such as serial ports and parallel ports.
The usage became so common that USB also started replacing other types of battery charges
because of its capability of both to communicate and to supply electric power.
USB -C:
Among the other versions of USB, the most widely used and smartest version is USB -C, also
known as USB Type-C. Its two-fold rotational - symmetrical connector with 24 pin USB
connector system makes it portable and easy to use.

For connecting to both hosts and devices, USB -C needs a cable. USB cables contain e-marker
chips, which are programmed to identify the cable and its current capabilities. They can handle
up to 10 Gbit/s data rate at full duplex. For certifying this, they are marked with superspeed+
logo.
Its increasing usage can also be credited to USB-C multiport adapter. This adapter can convert
the device native video stream to DisplayPort/HDMI/VGA thus enabling the viewers to watch it
comfortably on an external display, such as a television set or computer monitor.
This is why nowadays every latest device such as motherboards, notebooks, tablet computers,
smartphones, hard disk devices, and USB hubs contain USB receptacles.
In addition to that android Marshmallow, Chrome OS, Linux, Windows 10, and Windows 10
mobile, which are the software present in almost every device today, also support and work
with USB-C.
USB-C to DH+ networks is possible using a 1784-42dhp cable which is an add-on to the benefits
of USB-C.
Owing to the smartness, simplicity, and lower cost, USB-C is finding its place in many devices
like Apple, HTC, and LG. Its multi-usage is making it the best version of this time.
