New!! Business & Industrial PLC One: RSLogix 500 Gain an understanding and overview of programmable logic controllers, (PLC). Beginning Welding (Lewiston) Welding has become a valuable skill in the labor market today. This 18-hour basic course can help you get started on adding this skill to your portfolio, or sharpen up a skill that you already have. You will learn the basics of machine set-up, and go through filler metal selection. MIG and stick techniques will be covered, plus, you will learn tips to get started on projects and explore the opportunities for a career in welding. Instructor: Jody Nielson Day Date Time Cost T/Th 08/07 to 08/23 6-9pm $499 Advanced Welding (Lewiston) If you have had some experience in welding, or completed the Beginning Welding class, this 30- hour class can take you to the next level. You will get hands on experience with Stick, MIG and TIG processes. The instructor is an experienced steel fabricator working in the field, and he will help you build and refine your craft into the skills that employers are looking for. In this 30-hour introduction to aluminum welding, you will learn machine setup and alloy and filler selection. The instructor will give you tips and tricks you can use on the job. You will learn TIG and MIG processes for welding aluminum. Spots in this class are very limited so register early. This 30 hour course picks up where the beginning course ends. It is great for people who have welded before but are looking to brush up their skills or add new processes to their resume. Explore MIG and Stick and refine your TIG skills.
