“I was part of ASAP Jambayan, an acoustic
group. Nung nag-transfer ako sa ASAP G, it was
really an adjustment for me kasi I went from
from acoustic to sing and dance. Nag-adjust
ako sa mga dancing, sa prod naming, and
new music, new people. Pero it was really fun.
Nakaka-miss din syempre yung mga nakasama
ko noon, nagkikita-kita parin naman kami pero
hindi na lang kami nasa iisang rehearsal. Yun
nga, you have to learn how to adjust sa showbiz,
paiba-iba yung nakakasama natin. For ASAP
G, super fun ngayon ng group namin kasi puro
teens kami and malaki-laki ang fanbase ng mga
teens and millennials ngayon so I’m really happy
to be part of ASAP G.”
Lala is very bubbly and easy to talk to. She has
an innocence to her, as well an obvious sense
of humility. The young artist exhibits a pleasing
personality that will surely captivates those she
crosses paths with. She has a certain glimmer in
her eye as she explained what else she wanted
to do in the future.
“Siguro, I want to direct films, and to do action
films. For the action films, I want to both direct
and star in them. And I want to write more
songs. I’ll be releasing my own song very soon I
hope and sana magkaroon pa ako ng chance na
malabas ko yung pagiging artist ko,” she said.
She also had a message for her fans, and those
who continually show their support for her.
“Thank you so much for supporting me, without
my fans, wala ako ngayon dito. Kahit naguumpisa
pa lang ako, step by step, they’re still
there to support and lagi nila akong tinuturing
na pamilya. Inaalam nila ang lahat ng tungkol
sa akin at natutuwa ako kasi mas marami silang
alam kaysa sa akin tungkol sa sarili ko,” she said,
before giving a hearty laugh.
