Accommodation
Our EuroClub range of trips boasts accommodation as eclectic as
the places we visit. In some cities, we stay in the latest, modern
hostels, some of which are truly amazing. In Italy, we often stay
in bungalows at campsites, although calling them ‘campsites’ is
doing them a serious disservice – it’s just that ‘self-contained mini
resorts with unique nightlife’ is a bit of a mouthful. In Paris and other
selected special stopovers, we use hotel upgrades so you are right
in the middle of the action. In addition to all these great choices are
the Topdeck exclusives, such as our 12th century castle on the banks
of the Rhine in Germany. How about that for variety? These trips are
based on single sex, multi-share accommodation, normally four to a
room.
Meals
Our EuroClub trips include all breakfasts and lots of dinners giving
you the freedom to choose what and where you want to eat the rest
of the time. Included dinners are often in local restaurants and at
other times, when it comes to dining out, your Trip Leader will point
you in the direction of some of the best local restaurants around or
you can simply explore and find your own dining gems.

Food Fund
On our EuroClub trips there is a compulsory Food Fund used to pay for
the included meals on your trip and that is shown separately on each
trip page. This is paid at the time of booking but is fully refundable prior
to departure if you need to cancel your trip for any reason.
Transport
Although we try to spend as little time on the coach as possible,
Europe is a large continent and it takes time to get around. No fear
though, our very comfortable coaches have reclining seats and wide
windows to catch all the passing scenery. On driving days between
cities we will do our best to stop off at as many interesting places as
possible. All ferry crossings are also included.
Group Size
Our EuroClub trips have a maximum of 48 clients on board and are
accompanied by a Driver and Trip Leader.

Winter Festivals & Events
No one does the European festival circuit like Topdeck. With nearly

Christmas and New Year in Europe is as close to a fairytale
experience as most travellers can get. From the smell of mulled
wine wafting through an outdoor market to snow-speckled carol
singers belting out Christmas classics, enjoying a proper ‘winter’
festive period is a time you will never forget. Whether you want
to do some Christmas shopping along the cobblestoned streets
of Brugge or celebrate New Year at Edinburgh’s world-famous
Hogmanay street party, Topdeck has a trip to suit all tastes.
If the thought of eating a week’s worth of Christmas leftovers fills
you with dread, you can head for the hills (well they’re mountains
actually), on an all-inclusive Topdeck ski trip, where the après-ski is
nearly as much fun as the action on the slopes.
Why not start planning for the year ahead and take our trip to Las
Fallas in Valencia for example or attend the dawn service at Gallipoli
on one of our ANZAC trips.
When you combine our new festivals with old favourites such as St
Patrick’s Day in Dublin, the Edinburgh Tattoo and Oktoberfest in
Munich, the only decision you have to make is which one to choose
first. No matter how long or short your trip is, on a Topdeck festival

Winter in the Sun
If the thought of embracing winter is a little too much to handle,
Topdeck also offer three fantastic destinations that are known
for their warmth, both in climate and hospitality. Immerse
yourself in authentic Egypt, Morocco or Jordan!
In Egypt you can lose yourself in the ancient ‘Land of
the Pharaohs’, or perhaps sample the cultural delights of
beautiful Morocco? If man-made and natural wonders are
what you’re after, Jordan and its ancient city of Petra is at
the top of many travellers’ ‘must see’ lists. Whatever choice
you make, travelling in the winter months means fewer
crowds and a more relaxed travel experience.
All of our guides in these amazing countries are locals, fluent
in English and bursting with knowledge of their homelands.
Not only does this mean that you are in safe hands, their
understanding and insight helps bring each destination to life.
For a more personal touch and a less intrusive form of travel
in these culturally sensitive countries, group sizes are limited
(in Egypt, the average is 20, with Jordan and Morocco
averaging 10). There is also no problem with going it alone,
with no single supplements to worry about, in fact, many of
our clients prefer this option!
