TO PREVENT APOPLEXY
LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE
By Dr. J. L. Herbert
Apoplexy Is commonly known
as paralytic stroke. Ninety per
cent of strokes are associated with
Ugh blood pressure. Apoplexy Is
brought about by the rupture of
diseased arteries of the brain
•from too high blood pressure.
Apoplexy is a very serious condl-
Una. If the condition does not
result fatally it usually leaves one
side of the body paralyzed.
There are small nerves leading
to all the blood vessels which
control the flow of blood and also
.regulate the pressure. It is
fthrough this mechanism that Chir-
opractic adjustment!! reach the
[cause of high Wood pressure and
Mother conditions of the blood ves-
sels and circulation. By normaliz-
ing the blood pressure now you
•trill aveH the possibility of a
stroke In the future.
(This Is one of a series of Chir-
opractic educational advertise-
ments appearing in this paper
