THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
Based in the coastal town of Granada, La Herradura, on the incredible Costa Tropical in
southern Spain, we are lucky to have beaches and coves with crystal clear waters, ideal for all
types of water sports such as kayaking, snorkeling, paddle surfing, being also the number 1
spot, on the Andalusian coast, for diving.
The bay is surrounded by impressive cliffs, hills and mountains for hiking, canyoning and
coasteering.
Being at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, we are very close to the most southern ski resort in
Europe.
The area is also known for its culture and traditions, with the world famous Alhambra with its
Nasrid gardens and palaces, numerous ancient castles, typical white villages and the Nerja
Cave with the oldest cave paintings in the world.
Flamenco dance shows, music festivals and tapas routes are a very popular way to spend an
evening.

MASSAGES
MASSAGE: During your stay, you will enjoy a welldeserved
massage at the hotel and spend a relaxing
moment on the beach in company or on your own.
TOPICAL FRUIT MOUNTAIN WALK
Costa tropical is the unique sub tropical clima on the
European continent, where all kinds of tropical fruits
groves. You will have a nice mountain walk visiting some
of these fruit crops where you also will have splendid
views over the bay of La Herradura.
HIKING
Enjoy hiking in the most beautiful coast of southern Spain with stunning sea
views and surrounding countryside, a real charm to discover.
The route of ‘Castillejos’ on the Natural Park of the Almijara, Tejeda and
Alhama mountain ranges, is on one of the most important natural mountain
enclaves in South Eastern Andalusia, with 1,148 plant species, 25% of which
are endemic, and of particular note animals such as the ibex. It provides innite
possibilities for adventured and nature lovers.

CULTURAL EXCURSIONS
FRIGILLIANA:
Most characteristic of Frigiliana, apart from
being a typical Andalusian white village, is that
it preserves the streets, houses and sewage as
they were during the sixteenth century. Even
today a sugar cane honey factory built in the
sixteenth century is preserved.
THE CAVE OF NERJA:
La Cueva de Nerja, located at 158 meters
above sea level is 4823 meters in length, one
of the largest cave of Andalusia. The cave has
the world’s oldest cave paintings known in the
history of mankind, dated at 42,000 years old.
WORKSHOPS & SHOWS
FLAMENCO WORKSHOP: Learn the basics of
flamenco dancing with a professional flamenco
dancer.
In this dance workshop you will through a simple
choreography familiarize with flamenco rhythms
and gradually incorporating the movement of
hands, feet and steps to flamenco style.
You’ll spend a fun and dynamic time and in an
easy way learn more about this so complete
dance, with the teaching of real professionals in
this art.
FLAMENCO SHOW: During one of the meals
you can enjoy a flamenco show, where you will
see the techniques learned in the workshop.
YATCH SAILING TRIP
Nothing beats seeing Costa Tropical’s coastline from the sea, having
the opportunity to enjoy of the natural environment of the natural
park ‘Cerro Gordo y Maro’, place distinguished by its steep cliffs.
Experience of a day you will remember for a long time.
LUNCH & DINNER
BREAKFAST:
Every day before we starts our activities we will
all together have our breakfast buffet on the
hotel.
LUNCH & DINNER:
During the days full of activities and visits to
different places, we will have the opportunity
to taste local dishes, each time at a different
restaurant selected by their environment,
kindness and good cusine. You will also enjoy
a splendid picnic in the middle of nature in a
protected park.
SNACKS: Every day we will bring fruits,
energy-bars and beverage with us.

Sierra Nevada is Europe’s southernmost ski station,
and the highest in Spain. With its high elevation,
the skiing season can last from late November until
early May.

An Aqua Park with multiple water attractions such as
Tropical Trails, Lake Cascade, the Wave Pool, the Zigzag,
