Community Learning are once again running a range of courses locally. Open to adults<br />
aged 19 and over. Come and learn in a friendly and supportive class.<br />
Sewing Workshops<br />
(from September <strong>2018</strong>)<br />
Based at Faithspace we will be<br />
running workshops to make<br />
bunting and flags for the <strong>Redcliffe</strong><br />
Autumn Festival in October.<br />
If you want to learn sewing skills,<br />
we will be running some free<br />
workshops to help you get<br />
creating and making for you,<br />
friends and family.<br />
Level 2 Award in Food Safety<br />
(November to December <strong>2018</strong>)<br />
Are you working or volunteering<br />
where you may be handling food?<br />
Join this course and add a useful<br />
qualification to your CV.<br />
Free if on any means tested benefits<br />
and fee of £30.00 if not on benefits.<br />
The course will run over 5 weeks and<br />
have a free crèche. Booking is<br />
essential for course and crèche.<br />
Get Ready for Universal Credit<br />
Changes to people’s benefits<br />
mean that you may need some<br />
support to get online, especially if<br />
you are going onto Universal<br />
Credit.<br />
From the Autumn we will be<br />
running a series of workshops to<br />
help people get online, learn more<br />
about Universal Credit and find<br />
out how to ask for more support.<br />
