Dordt College is seeking a professional self-starter to
serve as an administrative assistant for the
Professional-Technical (Pro-Tech) Education program.
This individual will provide diversified administrative
and executive administrative support services for the Pro-
Tech director and program. Responsibilities include
planning and scheduling meetings for on and off-campus
events, making travel arrangements and other
appointments. This individual will provide a variety of
support including taking minutes, filing, processing
expenses and monitoring budgets, and data-entry. We
are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills
who can serve as a liaison for the director between
faculty, staff and external groups. This position is
approx. 26 hours/week.
An associate’s degree is required and a bachelor’s degree
is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education
and experience. Strong verbal and written
communication skills as well as organizational and
coordination skills are desired.
