May I introduce a rather unique clown partnership,
"Rocky and Rocky's
Mama." Of course,
Rocky is the star. I
just hold the leash.
We work mostly
with veterans (I had
24 years in the Air
Force) and children ,
usually as volunteers.
Rocky will lay
down her life tor a
small child. She is a
registered Therapy
dog.
Rocky and I belong to Clowntowner Alley #242 in New
Port Richey, FL.
She shared the Spirit

Very early last year I asked several friends to do me a
favor . I wanted to enter a contest sponsored by Coke and
grocers in Indiana/
Illinois. The winners
would carry the Torch in
the relay across
America , joined by the
"Community Hero"
carriers, on its way to
the Olympics in Atlanta.
Numerous friends from
Funny Bone Clown
Alley, Calumet Clowns
and Contact Cares of
Northwest Indiana filled
in entry forms for me. In
April, I got the word that
an entry sent in by a
fellow Joey had been
selected . Then the
excitement began ....

I went to a fitness center and asked if they would
sponsor my training.They easily agreed and I started
training, right on up till the evening of June 3, when I carried
the torch in Gary, IN ... .The runners were dropped off at our
assigned locations with torch in hand. We each had time to
"Share the Spirit" before we stepped off ... l met several
