Sound & Vision 2012
Experience television in a new dimension.
Be prepared for everything and immerse yourself in the third dimension. Experience an unparalleled home cinema experience with
razor-sharp images on the LED TVs in the new Vision 9 family, featuring screen diagonals ranging from 32" to 55". The optimum
combination of LED background lighting and full High Definition resolution allows you to get even closer to events and makes your
favourite films even more real.
The passive 3D technology in the Vision 9 LED TVs functions by means of pole filters integrated in the TV to together with the corres-
ponding 3D glasses, glasses, which polarise the light from two two half half pictures. This ensures the viewer‘s right and left
eye see the respective
TV images from slightly different perspectives. The two half-images are then merged into one spatial impre impression in the viewer‘s
brain. Because 3D perception not only functions when the viewer is sitting directly in front of the TV, but als also when the viewer shifts
to one side and watches from a much much wider angle angle of vision, we decided to include six six pairs of 3D glasses wwith
every device in the
Grundig Vision 9 series (or four pairs for the 32"). This ensures you can enjoy the 3D experience from the so sofa together with your
family or friends.
All the Grundig Fine Arts LE LED TVs and the
new Bundesliga television ar are capable of
functioning in all the differen different formats
used for 3D 3D display, such as top and
bottom, or side by side. In this th case,
the 3D effect is generated us using active
tive shutter shutter glasses, which aalternately
obscure one
eye at an unparalleled speed
while the other eye is
watching, and vice-versa. Th This allows each eye to
view view an an image from a slightly
different perspective
(just (just like when when viewing with ttwo
eyes). This pro-
duces a judder-free and sharp sha three-dimensional
image. Both types of 3D tech technology allow HD pro-
grammes in a 2D format to bbe
converted into 3D
when when preferred. And as as you wwould
expect, Grundig
LED TVs also allow allow USB recording reco for 3D program-
mes received via digital digital DVB signals.
Our eyes perceive an object from slightly different angles ang of view. With experience, our
brain learns to to make a spatial image from this this information. inform In Grundig 3D LED TVs,
this effect effect is optimised with state-of-the-art state-of-the-art technology technolo in order to show films in the
The LCD TV becomes an USB video recorder: recording and playing fi lms without an external DVD recorder – that’s USB recording.
You only need a Grundig LCD TV with USB recording functions and an appropriate USB stick or external hard drive. Whether
one-touch recording of the ongoing television programme, preprogrammed recording or the TimeShift function – you can use the
advantages of USB recording with many Grundig LCD TVs.
• Direct recording of the digital television programme received via satellite,
cable or DVB-T onto a USB stick or external hard drive
• Recording of broadcast Full HD content and, with our 3D LED TVs,
recording of 3D programmes received via digital signals
• One-touch recording using the record button on the remote control
• Pre-programmed recording via EPG or recording timer
• TimeShift function for delayed viewing
• Recorded content can only be replayed on the same LCD TV
All new Grundig LED TVs (from 26" display diagonals) are network capable and DLNA certified. That means you can easily communicate
within a home network with DLNA-certified appliances of other manufacturers. The Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) is
an international association of manufacturers of consumer electronics, IT hardware and mobile phones. The goal of the association
is to ensure trouble-free communication of information technology devices for home and personal use.
This allows you to use the remote control of your Grundig LED TV to easily call up files accessible on your network and play them
back on your TV – without having to go to the trouble of connecting USB hard drives or burning DVDs. Music, video and image data
is transferred to the LED TV over a wireless network (WLAN) using a wireless stick (USB dongle). HD video files are loaded at an
even higher rate of speed using a cabled network connection built into the LED TV. DLNA-certified Grundig LED TVs can also receive
Internet radio via the “vTuner” service, thus providing you with more than 16,000 international radio stations in your living room.
