With the new generation of Grundig LED TVs you can make use of all the possibilities of current and future 

entertainment offerings. In addition to an integrated HD triple tuner, several HDMI connections and a CI Plus 

slot, the new Grundig TVs equipped with the Grundig TV chassis Digi TP and Digi SX feature many other technical 

innovations. The revolutionary user guide is especially user-friendly: the Comfort Guide allows you to make all 

important settings in an intuitive manner. 

Technologies such as 3D television, SMART inter@ctive TV and HbbTV are setting new standards today: In the 

future your entertainment programme and additional related information will come directly from the Internet – and 

sometimes even in 3D quality. With the introduction of the DLNA certifi cation a major step has been taken in the 

direction of simplifi cation of home network setup. All certifi ed appliances, even those of different manufacturers, 

are compatible with each other on the home network. This makes the LED TV more and more an integral part of your

LED backlight – for even more brilliance. 

The LED backlight technology is a modern variant of LCD monitor illumination. With the Edge LED technology used by Grundig 

small LEDs are attached to all four sides of the monitor. From there they illuminate the entire surface of the panel. The result is 

realistic image reproduction in brilliant colours with outstanding contrast. The use of LEDs in LCD TVs also ensures less energy 

consumption and enables an extremely low housing depth for these models. Another advantage is the long service life that the 

LEDs in use provide.

The PPR (Picture Perfection Rate) value of Grundig LCD TVs 

is specifi ed in hertz (Hz) and stands for outstanding image 

reproduction of fast-moving scenes. The Grundig Picture 

Perfection Rate makes targeted improvements to the quality of image 

content in motion: 

Going beyond the common refresh rate of the panel (100 or 200 Hz), 

the Grundig Full Motion technology in combination with what is known as 

backlight scanning (fl ashing/dimming of background lighting) provides for more 

visible details in scenes with fast motion. The basis of the Grundig Full Motion 

technology are the powerful video processors of the newest generation installed 

in Grundig LCD TVs. Using these processors, the movements in the current 

programme are analysed, and appropriate additional images are calculated 

(interpolated) and inserted between the original images. This enables Grundig LCD 

TVs to show fi rst-class television images with a clean, realistic display without image 

judder and motion blurring. 

Television stations broadcast 50 half frames per second. In addition to the half frames that are calculated using the 

100- or 200-hertz technology of the LCD panel, additional half frames are calculated and inserted using the new 

Grundig Full Motion technology. This results in extremely brilliant television images with completely smooth motion.

with the DivX Plus HD standard. 

Grundig LCD TVs with Digi SX chassis include an integrated multimedia player certifi ed according to the DivX Plus HD standard. DivX 

Plus HD is the new state-of-the-art standard for compression of HD videos. Many video-on-demand platforms already operate with 

the DivX Plus HD standard. Fee-based offerings protected by the DivX DRM codec can also be played on the DivX Plus HD-certifi ed 

Grundig TVs. The advantages of the DivX Plus HD-certifi ed multimedia player in the Grundig TVs: 

• You can play fi lms in many different formats through the USB port of the TV. 

• DivX Plus HD fi lms with the extension “mkv” have chapter markers, subtitles and several audio tracks just like with a DVD. 

• The audio format “AAC audio” integrated in DivX Plus HD ensures impressive surround sound. You can enjoy this sound experience 

without any compromises if you connect the digital audio output of the Grundig TV with your home cinema system. 

• You can use the USB port of the television to play automatic slide shows with MP3 background music. 

• You can rotate photos in portrait format using the cursor on the remote control.

The greater the number of pixels, the sharper and more 

detailed the picture resolution. With 1920 x 1080 pixels, Full HD 

provides the highest picture resolution and the most natural 

picture reproduction. The pictures are extremely detailed and

The new TV generation with visibly sharper and judder-free 

pictures. Grundig TV sets with Motion Picture Improvement

newest high-speed processing chip set calculates additional 

intermediate pictures and integrates them into the appropriate

Digi TP – the further development of the extremely 

successful Grundig Digi SX chassis. Both offer high-end 

technology and a new quality of application options to the 

user. Digi TP also enables access to HbbTV, the web-based 

successor and much improved further development of 

videotext. Vision 9, the Fine Arts and Vision 8 range Grundig 

TVs equipped with the new chassis offer HD triple tuners, 

CI Plus slots, USB recording, two USB ports, HDMI CEC 

control and many other innovations. These include image 

improvement systems, a 32-bit CPU power processor, 

a digital audio output and 8000 programme slots. The 

revolutionary “Comfort Guide” user guide is especially 

user-friendly: all important settings can be made in an 

intuitive manner.

All new Grundig chassis set standards in the 

area of operating convenience. Grundig TVs with 

the chassis Digi TF, Digi TP and Digi TK offer 

the Grundig Comfort Guide. The user interface 

was completely redesigned and revolutionised in 

its usability. Self-explanatory menu structures, 

a user guide that makes sense, and fast and 

optimal adjustment of brightness, colour and 

contrast using the “Comfort Guide” make it easy 

to use high-tech. Even “technophobes” will enjoy 

operating these TVs. Another special feature: 

The split-screen setting allows the user to 

compare the original image with the new image 

while he adjusts it as desired. This makes it 

unnecessary to consult the operating manual 

to find the appropriate TV setting. 

An HD triple tuner ensures unrestricted TV enjoyment.

Thanks to an HD triple tuner, you’re ready for every reception situation. With their integrated receivers, Digi TP and Digi TK 

chassis enable reception of satellite, cable and DVB-T signals for all Vision 9, all Fine Arts and Vision 8 models – even with 

the 22" television set. You can receive TV signals in digital standard quality (MPEG 2) as well as in high-resolution HD quality 

(MPEG 4) without an additional set-top-box. Apart from the fact that unnecessary running of cables is avoided, only one remote 

control is required, and flexibility is insured in the selection of the reception source (such as for a reception type change brought 

on by a move). 

The single cable system Grundig Sat Channel Router GSCR ensures that any 

subsequent conversion to satellite television is easy and convenient. 

Normally, satellite reception involves guiding a special cable from the 

satellite dish or satellite distributor to each and every receiver. This is 

not the case with Grundig TVs which feature the single cable system 

Grundig Sat Channel Router (GSCR). Thanks to GSCR the Grundig TV 

series Vision 9, Fine Arts, Bundesliga Television and Vision 8 can utilise 

the cable infrastructure already installed in the house or a flat to 

transmit satellite signals. The use of the Grundig single cable system 

GSCR is particularly practical where installing a new, so-called star network 

is simply too much work. The single-cable system is even suitable 

for those changing from cable to satellite television and have several 

households or devices to provide for. The distributor, a so-called SCR 

multiswitch which feeds the satellite signals into the network, functions 

the same way as a router. Every TV set in the house has an address of 

its own, to which the pre-defined data is sent. Altogether, a maximum 

of eight units can be integrated into a GSCR system. 

Green through and through – 

the Grundig energy-saving TVs. 

How much electricity does a television consume in 

standby mode or while it is operating? Consumers can 

see the electricity consumption of televisions at a glance 

by checking the EU energy label. The labels indicate the 

efficiency of the models from class A to G. Green stands 

for high efficiency, red for low efficiency. For many 

years Grundig has been working proactively to reduce 

the energy consumption of its televisions both during 

operation and in standby mode. The result: all Grundig 

LED TVs fulfil the requirements for classification in the 

topmost “green” energy-efficient classes. 

All Vision 9 LED TVs, as well as the Fine 

Arts models and the Vision 8 with 46" 

display diagonals, even correspond to the 

efficiency class A.

The passive 3D technology in the Vision 9 LED TVs functions by means of pole filters integrated in the TV to together with the corres- 

ponding 3D glasses, glasses, which polarise the light from two two half half pictures. This ensures the viewer‘s right and left

All new Grundig LED TVs (from 26" display diagonals) are network capable and DLNA certified. That means you can easily communicate 

within a home network with DLNA-certified appliances of other manufacturers. The Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) is 

an international association of manufacturers of consumer electronics, IT hardware and mobile phones. The goal of the association 

is to ensure trouble-free communication of information technology devices for home and personal use. 

This allows you to use the remote control of your Grundig LED TV to easily call up files accessible on your network and play them 

back on your TV – without having to go to the trouble of connecting USB hard drives or burning DVDs. Music, video and image data 

is transferred to the LED TV over a wireless network (WLAN) using a wireless stick (USB dongle). HD video files are loaded at an 

even higher rate of speed using a cabled network connection built into the LED TV. DLNA-certified Grundig LED TVs can also receive 

Internet radio via the “vTuner” service, thus providing you with more than 16,000 international radio stations in your living room.

you, the viewer, can directly access entertainment programmes and a great deal of information. Thanks to SMART inter@ctive 

TV in the new Grundig LED TVs, a large number of online services are integrated for convenient and direct access without it 

being necessary to make a detour through a PC. These online services are shown on the screen as what are known as widgets 

(graphical icons) – this ensures user-friendly operation and an attractive graphical display. In this way you have direct access 

to services including Facebook, YouTube, Reuters, Bild.de, World Weather Online …

With HbbTV, you can fi nd out just about everything 

about your favourite show and are prepared for the interactive,

All Grundig LED TVs in which SMART inter@ctive TV is 

integrated are also HbbTV compatible. HbbTV (Hybrid 

broadcast broadband TV) is a kind of interactive, multimedia 

and enhanced videotext that brings together Internet and 

broadcaster information about ongoing programmes. If 

all possibilities of HbbTV are used in the future, it will 

soon make television more interactive, colourful and 

entertaining for everyone. All public and large private 

television broadcasters are already offering HbbTV content, 

e. g. as background information on current programmes. 

You can access this information easily by pressing the red 

button on the remote control of your Grundig TV. With the 

public broadcasters, this takes you directly to the media 

libraries, for example, where you can click on your desired 

programme and immediately watch it. 

Now you can use an app – 

remote control using a mobile phone. 

Anyone with an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Android smartphone will be able to access the 

functions of the Grundig televisions or the new Blu-ray players even faster in the future. With the 

free Grundig remote-control app, these smartphones become full-fledged TV remote controls. 

All that is necessary for this is that the televisions and mobile devices be logged 

on in the same network. To make the apps easier to operate, they even take 

on the design of the Grundig remote control. All functions of Grundig 

televisions and the new Blu-ray players connected with each other via

The 3D effect is created by active shutter glasses, which cover the left and 

right eye in succession. Used in combination with 400 Hz Picture Perfection

charging cable supplied, which is connected to the LED TV. Two sets of
