The spark of creative energies
that amalgamated at the Monaliza
studio on Friday night was
like no other. The posh designer
Guvanch, whose apparel
can be classified as retro-chic,
had models as visual representations
of his line. Loud colors
with sequined bold motifs,
feathered sleeves and sultry
silks, the models were diverse in
background, age and physique.
The space was an ideal venue
for photographers, who came
in vast numbers, to capture the
perfect runway and ad campaign
aesthetic. One room led to an
even more elaborately decorative
room which led to an even
more overwhelmingly eye-catchingly
stimulating space. It was
like being in a utopian maze of
beautiful people, decadent artistic
designs, and endless paparazzi.
There was even a DJ
attracting a dedicated dance circle,
a musician drumming out to
the vibes of the event, and a fire
dancer impressing the audience
with her incredulous talents and
abilities.
As the night went on, the crowd
continued to grow, attracting a
vibrant flow of cool and hip millennials.
The event was truly
a photographer’s paradise, a
dream come true.
There was so much to capture.
In the first room there was an
large table-sized arrow situated
on the desk that models took
turns sitting on while photographer’s
flashed their cameras.

looked there
was something

In the same room there was a
fluorescent light with a white
sheet that models posed in front
of. There was a dazzling display
of decor; gold-framed mirrors
hanging on the walls, silver
candlesticks, a blurry TV
screen. Everywhere you looked
there was something worth
gazing at. In another room was
a red velvet swing that a model
was dangling from.
