The event brings together Estonian
choirs and folk dance groups from 15
European countries, performances
will take the audience on a musical
journey through the last 100 years of
Estonian history - from the manifesto of
independence in 1918, World War II and
Soviet occupation when many Estonians
fled to western Europe, through to the
singing revolution and re-independence
culminating in contemporary choir

Free Virtual Orchestra experience
by Philharmonia Orchestra
filled with fun hands-on activities for
all ages including the opportunity
to play along with the music in the
orchestra’s percussion room.
On 17 November the orchestra will
perform a live family-friendly concert
at Leicester’s Haymarket Theatre,
conceived for audiences who have
experienced The Virtual Orchestra.
The concert is short, friendly and
informal and presented by a specialist
to guide you through the music,
including the enchanting main theme
to Harry Potter, music from Star Wars
and excerpts from Holst’s The Planets.
