senior Chris Herron was<br />
among the standout football players named to and honored as a part<br />
of the Touchdown Club of Houston <strong>2018</strong> UIL High School Preseason<br />
Football Team on August 17 th at the organization’s Touchdown of the<br />
Year event at the JW Marriot.<br />
Herron, a senior quarterback for the Lobos, was among the 29 football<br />
players selected to the preseason team, which the Touchdown Club<br />
constructs through film study, recommendations, recruiting rankings<br />
and preseason publications.<br />

Walk-ins Welcome<br />
Each player honored by the Touchdown Club was presented with a<br />
plaque commemorating the distinction and congratulated by Pro Football<br />
Hall of Famers Terry Bradshaw and Joe Greene, who helped lead<br />
the Pittsburgh Steelers to four Super Bowl championships in the 1970’s.<br />
Bradshaw was named the <strong>2018</strong> Touchdowner of the Year.<br />
Since 2013, 19 CFISD players have been named to the preseason team,<br />
which included the district having multiple selections from 2014-2017.<br />
CFISD had seven honorees in 2016.<br />
