A Big THANK YOU to Cy-Fair Women’s Club for the awarding of their <strong>2018</strong><br />

Adopt a Cause Award to MESA-OUTREACH for our upcoming November<br />

<strong>2018</strong> Share the Table Event. This is a Community Outreach Event with<br />

Food Boxes, Gift Cards, New Underwear and Used Coats to assist the<br />

needy families in our area before Thanksgiving. They awarded this to us<br />

on Tuesday evening, July 24, <strong>2018</strong> at the MESA-FOOD PANTRY located<br />

at BCUMC 16000 Rippling Water Dr., Houston, TX 77084.<br />

STUFF THE BUS SCHOOL<br />

SUPPLY EVENT<br />

On August 7, <strong>2018</strong>, Mesa Outreach served<br />

180 families with 445 students receiving<br />

school supplies for K-12 grade. A total<br />

of 317 pairs of shoes were distributed,<br />

655 pairs of socks, 722 children’s books<br />

and 300 Texas Children’s Health Plan<br />

Backpacks filled with supplies, 1100<br />

bags of popcorn, countless bottles of<br />

water and 189 volunteers logged 512<br />

volunteer hours for the 2 nights of Stuff the Bus (Prep & Event). Special<br />

thanks to all our volunteers from NCL-Cypress Belles, NCL-Yellow Roses,<br />

Skyline Rotarians, Just Serve, St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church, Bear Creek<br />

UMC, Addicks UMC, Peace Community Church and many other individual<br />

volunteers! We could not have done this without you! We are so grateful<br />

for all your support of MESA-OUTREACH and Stuff the Bus <strong>2018</strong>!<br />

Hurricane Harvey Disaster Recovery Home Repair program. This is at no<br />
